Mysterious Cassette Tapes Found…

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

IMG_0256

I found these tapes on the wall in front of my house.  I was a bit afraid to touch them because, I don’t know, it just seemed dirty, like you didn’t know where they had been.  And I was afraid that if I listened to them maybe I’d get ear aids or something.  So I left them there.  3 days later, they were still there, so I decided to try them out in my car.  There’s a bunch of what I’m assuming is Thai pop music, and one that’s been customized with pictures from the movie “City Slickers” I think, and something with Tom Selleck.  The one titled “Modern Rocks (FE)” actually has some pretty good disco on it including Chic’s “Dance, Dance, Dance.”

Tuna Melt Development

Now I’m sure there are people reading my company bio, and seeing the part about tuna melt development, and they’re saying to themselves, “Well, this is just Ramsey playing around – surely he has no tuna melt skills.”  This is untrue!  And I am here to dispel this rumor!  Just take exhibit (A) above: Tuna Melt Development diagram, and (B) the photographic evidence from my lunch today below.  Skills.

Sketchbook: 12.18.08

Thursday, December 18th, 2008

Here are some weird drawings from my sketchbook.  There’s no real rhyme or reason to why I put these up today or in this grouping.  I’m just eating a slice of guava cheese cake (it’s a pastry, not a cheesecake) from the Cuban bakery down the street and I thought I would upload a few things.  I’ll post some other ones later.  I don’t want to blow your mind all at once. Bike Magazine actually had a photo similar to this with this slogan years ago.  When I ran across this photo, I remembered it and wanted to share the funniness with you.

Super Tuesday Batmobile!

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

On my way to work today, after voting at my local polling place (which by the way had an oceanfront view, ridiculous), I saw the Batmobile driving down PCH.  Not a car painted to look like the Batmobile, but the actual batmobile (or replica of) – the one from the television show.  The bastardized Oldsmobuick with fins down the back and red piping around the headlights and whatnot.  I guess that’s all I have to say about that.  Hope you voted.

Sidewalk art in Los Feliz.  I think that’s a guitar of some type.  Either that or a summer squash.
