A while back I interviewed artist Lisa Solberg for the North American launch of Australian magazine, Monster Children. Now that the issue has been released, I’m posting the full interview here. Enjoy.
LISA SOLBERG
26 year-old Los Angeles-based painter Lisa Solberg is someone whose career we’ve been watching for a while, but whose work has recently jumped to a new level of sophistication. We catch up with Solberg in her downtown loft to take a closer look:
The 2nd edition “Business/Personal” prints are at the printer now. I’m picking them up on Monday, and after they are signed and numbered, they will be ready to ship out on Tuesday the 16th! Artist Proof versions with hand-painted phrases on the prints will be coming soon after, so keep an eye out. For the time though, monochrome and 2-color prints are available HERE.
The first edition of my “Business/Personal” print sold out pretty quickly, and there have been inquiries about a second printing…so in order to keep the integrity of the first edition, I’ve created something new for the second edition. This new illustration will be available in a 2-color version in addition to the monochrome; there will also be a very limited number of artist proofs with hand-painted phrases on the print. You can pre-order now, HERE, and the prints will be available to ship in about 2 weeks.
