New Painting Finished : The Final Page

Just put the finishing touches on a new painting tonight.  It’s another in the series on George Bush quotes.  This one says: “There is no doubt in my mind, when history is written, the final page will say: Victory was achieved by the United States of America for the good of the world.”  I’ve included a few photos showing some of the steps along the way to the finished piece.  Size is 36″ x 36″ acrylic on canvas. Cleon Peterson : Studio Visit

A couple weeks ago I interviewed Cleon Peterson for Anthem Magazine.  He lives over near the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the outskirts of Los Angeles.  I ended up hanging out there for about 2 hours and had a great conversation with him.  He’s a super nice dude, and as a fellow designer/artist, we had a lot to talk about.  Below is the interview as it appears on Anthem Magazine’s website.
