Well, I’ve been missing in action on the blog for a while. Summer is here and I’ve been lucky enough to have had 3 great camping trips so far…Big Sur, and two trips up to the Sierras (Mammoth Lakes and Edison Lake). Here are a few pics from the Sierra trips:
I’ve been working on some paintings that deal with coveted objects and conspicuous luxury. I’m also, aesthetically, getting interested in neo-mysticism. So there you go. I’m not sure where this is going yet in the “bigger picture” sense, but here are 2 small pieces I finished this week.
Went on a little bikeride down the LA river from Los Feliz to Downtown with my buddy Greg. It’s really a pretty trip. There are rumors that the city is going to pull up some of the concrete and put in some parks and restaurants…do some revitalization to the area. That would be pretty cool.
I had a nice Big Sur camping trip 2 weeks ago with some good buds. Here are a few pics from what has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
